Formex Reef GMT Video Review

Today, we’re going to be reviewing the Formex Reef GMT. Our old Senior Writer, Mike, was our in-house Formex reviewer so this is the first time I’ve had hands on with a Formex. I had a brief hands-on with their lineup at Wind Up last October, so I was excited to finally spend some time with one. The bottom line with this watch is that it is a fantastic watch with some of the most exciting technology available in a watch that doesn’t cost over $2,000. We have a lot to unpack here, bezels, straps, and toolless quick release and micro adjustments, so let’s not waste anymore time.

Will

Will has been a photographer for nearly 15 years. Coming from the world of landscapes and architecture, watches were something he never thought he would photograph. In 2018 he founded The Watch Clicker to bring his love for watches and photography together. Photographing watches quickly turned into also writing about watches and the reviews you see today are the product of that evolution. Dive watches and chronographs dominate his collection as he is a die hard tool watch fan. Will believes that you should wear a watch how you want to. Leather on a dive watch? No problem.
