First Look: Christopher Ward C65 GMT Worldtimer

I don’t normally cover a lot of new releases, but Christopher Ward is releasing something new that addressed some of my minor gripes on some of their other similar models.  Christopher Ward seems to be listening to customer feedback and each new release improves upon prior releases and elevates the quality.

The Christopher Ward C65 GMT Worldtimer is the next evolution of the C65 GMT, which I reviewed last year.  The case of the watch looks to be the same, apart from the bezel, which now features cities instead of the typical 24-hour markings.

All the dimensions on paper look fantastic for a travel watch and would allow the wearer to feel comfortable wearing this watch on their long journeys.

I mentioned that some of my minor gripes had been addressed on the new model. I’m happy to see Christopher Ward include a screw down on the new C65 GMT Worldtimer. The watch maintains the same 150 meters of water resistance but adds the security of the screw down crown.

I’m also happy to see that the lume color is no longer fauxtina and will be Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1. Christopher Ward seems to be pulling out all the stops here.
