Holiday Gift Guide for Watch Lovers 2019

It’s that time of year again. Watch lovers around the world and those who are buying gifts for them have no idea what to add to their carts as gift ideas. I’ve put together a small list in multiple price ranges of watches, accessories and other fun stuff that the watch lover (or yourself) in your life might enjoy unwrapping this holiday season.

A quick note: The Amazon links are affiliate links which will give me a small “finder’s fee” if you end up buying something after clicking the link. This helps support the site.

Also note that prices change on Amazon all the time – the prices listed below are what they were when I posted this article

Under $100

Seiko SNXS77

This is a Seiko 5 model that flies under the radar most of the time. Sporting some Rolex OP/DJ vibes with Seiko’s reliable 7S26 movement, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser that doesn’t break the bank.

Seiko SNKL41

One of the more well known Seiko 5 models with classic styling and a bright white dial, you can’t go wrong here. Slightly more modern looking than the SNXS77 – the SNKL41 can find a home in any collection.

Traska Summiteer 10

Barton Bands

Barton makes my favorite affordable watch straps. I don’t own too many of the leather versions, but the Elite Silicone and Canvas straps are fantastic and come in a multitude of colors.  Perfect for the collector in your life who is constantly changing straps.

Casio Edifice

Applied markers, 100m of water resistance and a great size – I can’t figure out why this isn’t more popular. I like it so much I might get one for myself. It comes a few dial colors as well, but the prices do vary a little.

Ultrasonic Cleaner for Bracelets

If you love bracelets like I do, you’ll know how funky they can get after a while. A tool like this is perfect to get all the nooks and crannies clean on your bracelets. DO NOT put your watch in this, only the bracelet.

Manfrotto Pixi Tripod

If you or someone you know takes a lot of watch photos on the go, this might be perfect. Manfrotto makes fantastic tripods (I use one) and this is a great grab and go option that won’t take up a ton of room. Perfect for those coffee house watch photos.

ecodrive 100

Citizen BM8180-03E

If you’re looking for a grab and go quartz option or a style that can fit anyone on your gift list, this is a fantastic option. Sporting Citizen’s solar powered Eco drive movement, the wearer won’t need to worry about batteries. While $5 above the limit for this section, I feel it is still worth including.

Bergeon Spring Bar Tool

A necessary tool in any watch collector’s box, a spring bar tool is something you shouldn’t cheap out on. Bergeon makes one of the best ones out there and the tips are easily replaced if they are ever broken.

Under $250

Citizen BJ7006-56L

Offering a different colorway than the classic BJ7000 – the Blue Angels edition is a real looker. This watch has more features than you can name and doesn’t break the bank. If you’re looking for the classic black version and want to save a few bucks, it is available as well.

Timex Marlin Auto

Timex brought back the Marlin automatic last year and they are all around great watches. Coming in at 40mm with multiple dial options, this can work well as a dressy piece or something more casual. It’s available on Amazon but Timex runs sales sometimes that may make it cheaper direct from them.

Seiko Recraft Chrono

Seiko’s Recraft series aims to bring some vintage styling to modern watches and there isn’t a better example than these two chronographs. Beautiful dial colors combined with a cushion case make for a truly awesome looking watch.

Dan Henry 1962 20

Dan Henry 1962

One of my favorite quartz chronographs from this year, the Dan Henry 1962 is a great value and sure to impress the watch collector on your list.  It’s a tad above $250 but worth the extra $10 stretch. If you’re on the fence, make sure you check out my review here.

Under $500

Casio Oceanus

The Casio Oceanus is often looked over when it comes to higher end quartz watches. Packed with features, a nice case size, applied markers, Bluetooth capabilities and a titanium case, this is not a watch to skip over.

Citizen Promaster Tough

If you’re looking for a watch that isn’t as aggressive looking as the Victorinox INOX, the Citizen Promaster Tough should be right in your wheelhouse. Designed to be kicked around, dropped and dunked in water this is one of the best beater watches you can buy.

The SRPC39 Mini-Turtle is a beautiful watch to look it. Is it the successor to the Seiko SKX?

Seiko Mini Turtle

The Seiko Mini Turtle is one of the best budget Seiko dive watches available today. The sizing is perfect for almost any wrist and it will last a lifetime. Read my review here
